Steam Gift Card Inquiry

Hi everyone, I have a quick question about steam gift cards and region locks. I have an Egyptian steam account, and i’d like to buy a gift card (i rly want the new psylocke and bucky skins in marvel rivals), but all the stores in my area do not sell Egyptian steam gift cards, will an American gift card work? What regional cards can I purchase (without worrying about them not working)?

I’d really appreciate your guys’ help.

Egypt is part of the MENA store region which uses USD and is therefore eligible to use USD retail gift cards.

How will retail Wallet Codes be affected by this change? For example, will it be possible to redeem USD wallet codes?

MENA - USD and LATAM - USD countries/regions will be able to redeem USD wallet codes after November 20, 2023. In addition, Turkish lira and Argentine Pesos Steam wallet codes will automatically convert to USD based on the daily exchange rate when redeemed on Steam after November 20th.

yes you can - US gift cards use USD. Egypt store region uses USD. They are compatible.
