How do I get the Steam library tab back on Mac?
My PC recently crashed, so I thought I would access Steam on my Mac until I got the PC working again. I went to the Steam page, clicked on Install Steam. An Icon appeared on in Downloads, and when I clicked on it, it showed an icon for Steam next to a box that said Applications and said to click and drop it. I did, and the Steam Icon appeared on my Apple task bar. I clicked on that, and logged in. It showed my name, and I was able to see my profile page, and my wishlist, so it knows who I am,. I did have to log in each time to see those pages though. So it is clear I am logged in and Steam knows who I am.

The problem I am having is there is no tab on the screen for my Library. I believe this is usually shown right between the Store button and the Community button. On my PC, I could click on the Library button, and I would go to the Library where it would show a panel on the left showing all the games that I had not hidden, and I could also click on Hidden to see the rest of my games.

The top panel showed recent new about games and updates.

I don't no how to get this page back. When I click on Support, I don't see any option that will let me open a ticket to solve this problem.

Any help that you can give would be appreciated.:LamentMoonman::LamentMoonman::LamentMoonman:

Can you confirm the Steam icon on your taskbar is loading the Steam client?

This part sounds like you're logged-in to your Steam account in a Web browser rather than the Steam client.

How do I confirm it? I can see that when I go to the Steam page with my Safari browser or my Firefox browser there are extra icons in both, for example a bookmark tab, that do not appear when I click on the steam Icon. And in the top left next to the little apple logo, it says Steam when I click on the Steam button in the task bar. I also says Steam when I click on my profile page or my wishlist. But when I clicked on notifications to come here to read your post, it changed and the icon next to the apple logo read Safari.

If I'm already in Steam and logged in, I am not sure why it does this, or how to fix it?:winter2019sadsnowman:
Noticed you also posted in the "Steam for Mac" forum but am surprised no one has replied to your post there. I don't know much about Mac OS other than that Steam no longer supports 10.14 and earlier versions. Perhaps a video showing how to install Steam might help such as the following:
