how do i disable my right analog stick with steam?
hi, i'm having some problems with my ps4 controller, mainly because the right stick has drift, this is normally not an issue as i don't use it and have never needed to (mostly play games that require a d-pad)

i don't care about fixing it, so what i'm trying to do is disable the analog stick so i can use the damn controller without it scrolling through menus, which i know is a thing on steam because i did it in the past, and it fixes the issue entirely

problem is, they changed the big picture and controller settings interface and now i can't find the place to do that anymore, i was able to change the right joystick action to "none" in non-game controller layouts, but that didn't work because i'm trying to do it FOR a game

i tried to look it up but i can't find any updated guides

sorry if i'm blinding it, i for the life of me cannot find where i can change this

it's a ps4 controller fyi

nevermind, found it, for anyone else with this problem:
right click the game in your library > mouse over manage > click "controller layout"
i should've thought of that, then again there is no reason why i can't use a general layout, since it's the exact same everytime
