I don't get E-Mails telling me about a release anymore

Hello.

For years i always got an E-Mail when a game on my wishlist released. Since 3 days it stopped. Any idea why?

An easy way to tell if it works is to go to Steam, go to Upcoming Games, Click "ViewAll Upcoming Games" add the 1st game to your wishlist.

I figure thats the absolute fastest way to get any email from Steam

Ive added 3 games since my ticket got created and none of the 3 latest games gave me an email

Let alone the 550+ games on wishlist. I do get notifications of games but no email

Also I added Steam as my Fav Contact under Outlook; and added as a "SafeSender" still nothing

I also don't get any email regarding to wishlisted games. But I also don't get email anymore about my curator. This is something I normally get every day.
I do get emails for Steam purchases and emails if I sold something at the Steam market.

Steam gave me an update to my ticket making same comment giving the MTA delivery failure [to outlook] also of course blaming outlook

Anyone using GMail as their provider and steam giving MTA error too?

After my work i will change email to Google/gmail

Then, again, add a game releasing tomorrow [Jan 30th] and see if i get such email

Then will send message back to Steam !

After changing my email to outlook, I still haven't gotten any wish list emails. I will update my ticket and see what they said after they told me to change emails. They will probably again blame outlook. The only way I know about wish list and new releases is by the notification bell, which is a pain as I don't always log in. I got 3 games that went on special early this morning, but nothing to my new email.

benklerk what email provider were you using before changing to outlook. I'm wondering if I should even change it to gmail

nahh i think i will. maybe with luck i'll get a response like 'Bollazza' where they finally admit their defeat lol

I was using Zoho as my email provider. Been using it for years without any problems. I just changed to outlook just to show them. I changed my email like you wanted and the problem still happens.

Lol, this sounds like they finally realize that it's >maybe<, but just >maybe<, their fault.

Outlook just told me they cant fix it unless steam support contacts them. so i dont this will ever be fix lol. they both blame the other person.

Telling me that my email provider is blocking it. Can anyone shed some light on the MTA Status 554, a quick goggle search says." indicates that the mail server did not accept the incoming email".

I don't know if its my end, or steams end.

For me, the code was 550.

I'm not with one of these providers. And again: my provider didn't have any log entry for wishlist mails from Steam, so the mails never touched their server. The problem either is on Steam's side or caused by the way of delivery (servers the mails cross during delivery).

We have to flood Steam's support with a lot of tickets. Maybe they will pay some attention..

I switched to google as my email provider

Since i have

Received email of games on sale
New Release came out
Another game(s) email on sale



im still slated for another email saying new game came out

3 Emails less than 24hrs is a + for me so far

@gmail = new switch

i will keep you updated [also i might add more games to wishlist just to see if i keep getting emails
