Big Picture Mode starting in a small window

I've recently started noticing that upon launching Big Picture mode in fullscreen mode, the window instead opened as a small (haven't measured out properly but it looks like the size is defaulting to 720p) window on either the top left or bottom right corner of the screen. Going to settings, enabling windowed mode, and then re-enabling fullscreen mode fixes the issue until Big Picture mode is relaunched. Has anyone faced this issue before, and if so, what have you done to permanently fix it?

Some additional information that may be relevant:

OS: Windows 11 Pro
Resolution: 3440x1440
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4080 SUPER

Nope, I don't think Valve gives a ♥♥♥♥ about this issue.
