Steam Key not working for Tabletop Simulator P2P

I bought a working Steam key for Tabletop Simulator, and it allowed me to download the game, but in game its showing an issue and not allowing me to create any games. (The following is my phone's transcription of the error message since it didn't allow me to copy the text from the field itself):

I will say that just because it refers to key in the error message that doesn't actually mean the registration key you used to activate the game on Steam.
