I can't play the game because of family sharing restrictions, it's currently on free weekend, and I bought it.
Hello, when my friend is in the game, I can't just go into the game, a window appears with the following text: an error occurred while starting the game: the shared library is blocked. And in the library, the "play" button is not pressed and is colored gray because it turns out that he is not playing the version received from the free weekend, but the one purchased through steam family sharing, and this really interferes with our ability to play together, I would like this to be fixed please as soon as possible.

If your steam family only owns one copy of the game, one person can only play it at a time. For more then 2 people to play the same game, the family would need to own another copy.

Free weekend game access does not count as a owned copy of the game.

Sorry, but maybe you misunderstood me.. I bought the game. And a friend launched the game while it on free weekend. And while he was playing, I had no opportunity to enter the game that i have, because probably my copy was "busy" by him.. I hope I made myself clear this time?

Stop share that game then, its like you need us here to say its your game you just bought and want to play now, should this not be First rule ever as owner of that game.

If you want to play that game only now then deal with this, they can play other games you dont want to play, as i understand it, dont share gamee you play its that simple.

And we are not support here.

ps.
" I would like this to be fixed please as soon as possible."
we cant fix anything here as steam users.

I'm pretty sure no matter what family issue this is , he how bought is the controller over when he want to share it.

I also have brothers, and there is so many unspoken rules here. ( you are not take advange of brothers things without get accpet to do so. and owner of things has the right to change hes minds, ( hope it can help you ) just tell you brother you want to play that game NOW.

this is not even a stam issue this is Family and lines should be clear, so you avoid argue over a game.

and what prevent you from thow in the line buy it yourself then, debat over.

and now upi can play together with 2 version 9f game has MP. ( aient that a win win case )
assume its a 2pc and 2 diffrent accounts and each has the game.

From what the quoted post shows is free weekend game access does not count as owned copy. That being said if they are playing it during free weekend and you happen to have that game purchased in your library, since their free weekend doesn't count as owned it is technically using yours. A bit of a pain.
