Is there a site to find out what games were removed/delisted/canceled on steam?
Today on my wishlist theres a game that simply says "unavaible item" and it drives me mad that i dont remember what was it.

Is there any way to figure out what game it was?
The only thing i know is that it was added on 2024. 05. 22.

If you log in to Steam via a web browser like Chrome and go to your wishlist, you *might* be able to use right-click > Inspect (to open the developer console) on an 'unavailable' item to find the appID of the game in the page code.

If you get the appID, visit SteamDB[steamdb.info], type it into the search bar, and press Enter. This will show you the game's name.

There are websites like steam-tracker.com that show delisted games, but they won’t help with your wishlist problem.

You can right click the game "title" in your Wishlist and save the link address and delete everything after the appID. You can then plug the partial link into ChatGPT to tell you the game it links to (and correct it if it tries suggesting a random game with a similar but not identical link).

I just did this and figured out a game title that was I added years ago, but was delisted on Steam, causing the game to be locked into the Wishlist and not display. I guess the recent change made games like that visible for users to delete, but doesn't say what the games are/were.

Alternatively, you could swap out "store.steampowered.com" in the copied game link for "steamcommunity.com" to see if the game's community page is available. That could display the name, even if the store page is inaccessible.
Wish I'd found this before I deleted them out of my wishlist.
Is there any sort of database that shows all the games that were affected in the past week? Hoping I can skim the titles and recognize what it was.
The two oldest were added in 2012 but were placed #8 and #10 on my list!?
Alternatively, on your wishlist, you can right-click the 'unavailable item,' copy its link, and paste it into the search bar on SteamDB to find out which game it was.
I tried this as 2 games in my own wishlist were removed recently. Using the ID search I found that one of the games was a game I've never even heard of called Decksplash (some skateboarding game I think). Is there a more reliable way to search it? Or maybe it's an issue on Steam's end?
I was having this same issue. Putting in the ID I discovered the missing wishlist game was Death Stranding, which is odd because I've never wanted much less wishlisted Death Stranding. Is steam just having an error where it adds unlisted games to the wishlist for some reason?
Yea I did the copy of link then steamDB, I had a wishlist of 136 games, this morning 4 of them were unavailable, Im pretty sure I know the 136 games I had wishlisted if I seen them, yet when I did steam ID 3 of them I never seen before. Steam must of done a clean out.
I had the same issue with a game showing as "unavailable item".
The way i was able to figure out what is was, is logging into steamdb and going to my wishlist and looking for an item that had lines through the price, rating, release and i clicked on that item and saw it was removed from steam..

I had the same stuff. Only thing I have managed to check wa on https://steam-tracker.com/, there's a list of the games removed and there is a mark which month/year the game has been removed. I have managed to track one of 2 games I have ddefinitely on my wish list, but can't remember the other one (added few years ago).

Kudos, I was able to get the app ID by inspecting the removed item on my wishlist. Though the steamDB search bar didn't return any results, I just googled steam app 1190460 and found that the removed game was Death Stranding as others mentioned.

Funny, because I am pretty sure I removed death stranding after receiving it for free on epic.
can someone look at this id for me ? 359380 it was on my number 2 in my wishlist but it tels me it was a dlc for secret world legend i have never wishlisted that game or its dlc so i know its not correct.

Thank you for the steamcommunity recomendation. This worked for me. For others' reference:

steamcommunity.com/app/228880/ = Ashes of the Singularity: Classic
steamcommunity.com/app/263280/ = Spintires
