trying to find a fix to these games

I like games like Vampire survivor, Halls of torments, etc. but I always have the same problem. When there is too much happening on the screen, the fps drops from 120 to 30. I thought it was bad optimization, but other users have told me that they have more modest PCs and these games run without problem. Is it a configuration problem on my part?

I already tried, and the answers are always the same: "you're poor" or "I've never had any problems"...

It could be, but that would be a very difficult thing to diagnose from where we're sitting.

That system is definitely strong enough for those games at high FPS.
I can play Vampire Survivors with locked 120 FPS on my ROG ALLY (PC Handheld) in 10 watt "silent" mode even during big monster hordes so that game does drain basically nothing.
There must be something going on on your end that it drops so drastically from 120 to 30 FPS, definitely not normal.

Could be a power issue or something related to the GPU/drivers. Something is bottlenecking it when the screen gets full.

The PC specs are more than fine plus games like these even pushed to the limits shouldn't have any notable performance drops of any kind. I have both titles and even with everything going haywire with sprites and effects, the performance pretty much remains the same as the start.
