Converting items into gems

Hi guys, I'm curious if I can buy an emoticon for 0.03$ and after a week convert it into gems. As I can see in my inventory the lowest I can get from an Item is 10 gems, will I get the same amount for an 0.03$ emoticon?

I have some I can't convert to gems but others range from 20 gems to 100 gems.

Quick look at mine and only one I have that's on market for £0.03, not mine, converts to 40 gems.

All you need to do now is go to the market and search for and it'll show you what game and the price
