Black screen with audio when starting Steam games
I tried every solution online and nothing worked but I managed to fix the problem by reinstalling Windows. Just sharing in case any else has the same issue.

Generally this is due to you not having the most up to date video drivers from Nvidia or AMD

I updated my BIOS, my AMD drivers and my Nvidia video drivers first and none of them solved the issue. I tried every solution online, the only thing that worked was reinstalling Windows. I'm guessing there was some configuration error with Windows that happened when I upgraded to a new GPU.

That’s generally previous drivers causing issues

The best tool to remove previous driver installs is DDUninstaller
