Ordered from VALVE STORE. Card declined, but it still charged me. HELP

I tried buying a shirt from valve store just right now, but when I reached the finals part, it said that "Card is declined" i haven't recieved any "Orders complete" but i checked my bank account i was still charged. How do i get my money back?

If it was declined, the money will be returned to your account in a couple of days.

There is no need to contact support unless it hasn't come back after a working week.

Does this happened to you? So the balance on my card right now is nothing? It's just on HOLD? nothing is charged from me?

Why was I charged twice for my purchase or charged for a purchase that says it failed?

In both of these cases, when a purchase fails one of the banking fraud checks, your bank may place a hold on the funds for up to 5 business days. These funds will not be collected by Valve. Please contact your bank to see if they will release the held funds.
If you still see a pending charge after 5 business days, please contact Steam Support so that we can investigate and help resolve the issue with your bank.

This is common practice with any failed online transaction.

this just happened to me. what a pain.. if it failed why take the money anyways? imade changes to the billing address to match it exactly and it still failed, so now i have the same order twice, both taken off my card. i use a prepaid credit card for online purchases so now i have to wait a week? this is ridiculous.

This happened to me also. My card was declined (apparently Chase thought it was stolen and marked it for fraud) and I ended up tryin to purchase skyrim three times. All 3 charges showed up on my account even though only one went through. The 2 declined charges were removed after a few days since the transaction never actually occured.
