I'm on that page but it just looks like it's loading forever, as it keeps saying:

And won't ever do anything. I thought maybe I needed to install java but I have java 6 or whatever installed, but when I try to install the latest, the installer won't work either it says it can't connect to something. Will it not work unless I have the latest version of Java, or something?
Also thank you for our help
Uninstalled anything I saw with the name java from my control panel uninstall thing, then used offline installer of java for the latest version, still nothing happening with firebind.
Something weird is going on, now-- my other browsers won't work, at least on the current network I'm on. Can't use Opera, Chrome, or IE, only Firefox works. This is weird.
I'm thinking that it IS something to do with the ports (how, I don't know why) but how would I change the ports allowed through the router? It's not my router so I wouldn't even be able to do anything, I don't think, right? Do I need to mess with my firewall settings or something else on my computer?
Again, thanks for your help, Fred.
Preferred: 8.8.8.8
Alternate: 8.8.4.4
Still same issues with Steam. Like I said, I can't mess wit the router where I'm at and this is a problem I've been having on ANY network I've been on for about two weeks.
I was able to fix the error. It turns out my network card was not ocnfigured correctly. I have a killer network card and it was just being all kinds of funky so I ran its software and it asked to reconfigure is settings. After running this everything was COMPLETELY fine.
I would like to thank Fred for sticking with me and this issue til the end. I really appreciate the help. I am off to play my new games. See ya!
