Account Recovery bug?

I tried to log into my old account. I entered the login name and password correctly, and am supposed to enter a verification code sent to my gmail. Unfortunately I dont remember the gmail I used with that account. So I click on 'I no longer have access to this email' and should enter my log in name, associated email or phone number. So I entered the account name, which should be correct since I got as far as 2FA on login. BUT I get an error saying my name isn't correct.
What do I do? I didn't have an associated phone number, so that option isn't available to me.

You figure out your email?

Now when do password forget, you fail the search, and pop up a blue box asking if you want to search by login name, click that then search by login name, this will ask if still have access to said email,


A) if it display not showing your, or still don't know your own email as show only small bit, then go click no, and if ask for have access to phone number, click no then you be at password page, click I forgot password, then you be at the form to fill out to recover account, and wait for steam support to reply back, they will ask for proof of ownership.

B) if it display your email, and have access to it, then click yes, and you get password recent sent to your email.
