Most of the items were between 0.03 and 5$, and i still had no confirmation sent to my phone.
Yes, i do know it may be annoying to sell items and confirm for only one cent, but it's a security problem too just like i stated.
My items were sold for low price with no confirmation and the person who was in control bought an overpriced item they listed on their own account.
I just want to know if theres an option to enable confirmation even if it's 1 cent.
And why is it not a security issue? There are lots of items under one dollar including CSGO cases. I was recently scammed, same method as the other user, where the attacker sold 100 euro worth of cases from my inventory for 30 euro and bought an overpriced item, transferring the money in their account. I know people who lost hundreds through this method. Hell, there are youtubers who have thousands in CSGO cases and their accounts are just as vulnerable.
Sooner or later you can't protect people from themselves any longer.
Well there are no Steam fraud agents. Since you were already playing along with the scammer, you think that just one more confirmation is what would have saved you? Or is the scammer just going to spin another sentence of story to convince you to continue participating in the scam?
Your best bet isn't more layers of security theater to soothe your ego. Your best bet is to keep your account secure and become educated enough about how scams work to be able to identify scams so you can protect yourself from them. Your ignorance is how you were exploited. No system can ultimately negate your ignorance, but your ignorance can negate system security if it's exploited so you make bad decisions managing your account.
