How to filter my library on the main steam page, NOT just a sidebar search
I want to simply filter my library, and view the results in the main section of my steam application window. However I can only see a search bar on the left, which is quite inconvenient.

Repeated: How to filter my library on the main screen of steam, so I'm looking at the tiles to represent games, and it shows filtered library results: I think a logical way to want to explore my library, not sure why it's not more accessible.

Like I can view all my games in the library window, but I can't filter them??? Is it a surprise I'd want to do that?

I guess the work-around is to save a new collection every time I want to filter a new search?....

o.0 am I missing something? This seems like a basic function that is missing, I must be..

Yes that filters the search bar to the left as I said, not the tiles on the main page like I was actually asking about.

Looks like to do what I'm intending the answer is to use dynamic collections to filter your library, not the actual filter menu, which only applies to the side-bar.
