Redeeming USD gift card while being a Ukrainian in Poland

My dear friend is going to gift me a 5-10$ steam gift card so I can get out of the Steam F2P status, however I am not aware how redeeming works nowadays. My steam account has been registered in Ukraine, making it a Ukrainian Steam account, but with the troubles which have been happening, I moved to Poland. I never spent a single dollar on Steam, so I don't have any payment method tied to my account, other than it knows I'm Ukrainian and it shows Ukrainian prices. But with the fact I'm in Poland and still using Ukrainian prices, it's confusing. And I forgot to mention, that my colleague is American and willing to buy a physical gift card or a digital Ukrainian gift card, depending on how the redemption will work. So the question is, Can I redeem an American gift card while being a Ukrainian inside Poland? or Can I redeem a Ukrainian gift card while being a Ukrainian in Poland? or Can I redeem a Polish gift card while being a Ukrainian in Poland.
TL:DR: Will I be able to redeem a USD gift card while I have a Ukrainian Steam region living in Poland.

Physical giftcards normally only works if they are the same currency as the account where you redeem them. There may be exceptions, but I would stay away from using a USD giftcard.

A physical Ukrainian giftcard will work on your Ukrainian account, no matter where you are in the world.

A digital giftcard, that your friend can buy directly from Steam, should work fine. Currency isn't a factor here.

Each Steam User Account is associated with a specific currency, which you can see in the top right corner of your Steam Client. Going forward, you may encounter an error if you try to activate a Steam Wallet Code issued in a different currency than the one of your Steam User Account.
