How do you disable function lock?

I've discovered recently that function lock seems permanently on on my computer. I'm not sure why, because my keyboard doesn't have an "Fn" key. How do I disable function lock?

Leftclik on the startbutton and type "keyboard" now click on the "On-Screen keyboard icon.

There you should be able to disable "Fn"

Okay, that worked, but some games (notably Minecraft) still respond as if Function lock was on.

Never mind. Turns out there's some hidden "feature" of certain games which prevents the normal use of function keys for some reason.
