You can't un-gift anything once they accepted it, without their permission to refund it. Assuming the refund requirements are met as well.
You have ZERO rights regarding that game. Its a GIFT.
So no, there is neither a way to revoke that game or get a refund.
For the latter you would need that persons permission and since you are outside the refund time limit by a cosiderable margin anway there is no point.
For the future, only gift away games if you are sure you can live with losing the money you spend on it. Dont expect anything in return, ever.
Also DONT give out gifts for promises of a later return of that favor.
Learn the lesson, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
If you want to buy someone a gift, that's fine. If the offer is buy me a game and I'll buy you an equal value game, well the gift system isn't really designed for that sort of trade. Sounds like your friend should buy himself a game and you can by yourself a game. And whatever excuses are peer pressure your friend applies is just more red flags.
Gifts aren't leverage you can use to punish someone when you're mad at them. It's not your think anymore. It's their thing. You have it to them. You have no control over their things regardless of your feelings or regrets now.
