Stolen account many years ago.

I bought the game Counter Strike many years ago. Unfortunately, my Steam account was stolen a long time ago and I don't remember what email, username, or password I had. However, I still have the original box with the CD-key that I used at the time. Is there a chance of recovering my Steam account?

You must be logged out of all accounts to start the account recovery process.

You don't need access to the email, phone or password currently tied to the hijacked/hacked account for this to work. Just pick the "I do not have access..." or a similar option when asked.

From what I can see, there is no option to access the account recovery section without any account data. (Im not logged)

There is only 4 options:
- Recovery from your email
- Recovery with your email (Password change)

And 2 options with steam guard

Check your old mails, maybe you will find one from Steam with username or used email.

I created this account over 15 years ago, and some time later I lost access to it. After such a long time, it's very difficult for me to say which email it was created on because I've used 10 different emails over the years, and many of them are no longer active.

If you used Outlook or any other client, you can still read the mails locally saved on your pc.

Did you buy any game on Steam? In that case you should have the invoice. Check them for username.

op make a ticket on your current account or a new account and specify the ticket isn't for the account you are contacting them on and present your case to them. it's not likely you will get the account back without some information about the account but steam support will let you know your options. you can also list all your known emails and see if any of them are linked the more proof you own the account posted, the better.

just follow the guide and i told that you dont need the mail or password only account name so you dont not care about that guide at all and the info i gave you ?

OP doesn't know the account name, so the guide can't help in this case.

Just having the original CS box + key is not enough.

You can still get your steam account but the odds are really really low. Steam needs the first email, any numbers recently tied to your old account. Steamwallet codes you purchased physically or online receipts,cdkeys etc. Otherwise the stolen/hacked/lost account is gone. I saw someone with the same problem he provided all his receipts proof of ownership to no avail. In the end of the day you have to provide what steam is asking, and only that way they can help you. If you sent an email to that address, you should have received an answer telling you that they don't read emails.
