Steam inventory says its public but its not!?! please help

I set my steam inventory to public, but it shows up as private. I tried everything I could think of; turning back to private then to public, I tried contacting "steam suport" all it did was try to make me resolve the issue myself which I obviously cant do.

If someone knows what the problem may be please comment, whoever resolves the issue for me can have a reward.

no I did not solve it. theres supposed to be a number on my profile next to the word "inventory" which there isnt. And it still says its private on csgobackpack.net

There is never a number next to the inventory option on the profile.
And an external website saying that a profile may be private is the default answer, when they can't connect.
Your inventory is public.

I see it's public, I check the site, and site has no issue seeing your inv being public. So if it still saying it private, then go clear cache, and cookies on your browser, and look again.
