How to redeem profile award steam points?

How do you redeem steam points from profile awards? I'm aware there's a 2 week timer, but what happens after that? Do you have to go somewhere to redeem them or do they automatically turn into steam points?

They are automatically added to your point count after 2 weeks.

They just show up in your Points balance. You don't have to do anything to redeem them but wait out the 2 weeks.

You can see your Points Balance in the Points Shop.

yep, check your points shop 2 weeks later and they should be there. i didn't have to do anything

do the points show up 14 days at the same time you were given the points?
