Does steam save your game saves?
I dont know anything about computers or how they work, but this old box has seen its days and is now crashing at every tiny bit.
Need a new computer asap but thats gonna take months before i get the money so i just wanna know
Once i get a new pc and just install steam there, can i start my game from where i left off or do i gotta start new game because new pc?
I put 90+ hours in the game and really dont wanna redo it all over and cant play it on current pc because after minutes pc shuts down.

Friend used 2 pcs when he was on vacation and one game didnt had his saves so he had to start all over while other game had.

So which is it? Am i doomed?

A lot of games make use of cloud saves, you will have to sync your cloud with your new Pc and everything should be fine.

Open Steam > Settings > Cloud > Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for apps that support it. Then click OK and restart Steam. Steam should synchronize, and you can try to play the game again. Steam may present you with an option of which save data to use when you launch your game.
