Buying gift card for friend with different currency

Hey i have a question because im unsure how this works. Right now im located in a country that has the Storefront & the "gifting gift cards" menu set to euro only.

But i have friends that have it set to different currencies, like czk (czech), pln (polish) etc.

What exactly happens if i gift an Euro-Giftcard to those accounts? Does it automatically get converted with some unknown conversion-fee?

Or is there any option to buy a giftcard in other currency directly, thats sent directly to their account?
I know there are many resellers online selling those, but regarding trust in those it doesnt look good from my side.
