Game Recording is recording my audio in Discord, but not my friend's.
I've been trying to figure this out for weeks. The new Steam Game Recording feature is amazing, and I've enjoyed playing HUNT: Showdown and recording clips of gameplay.

Every time I start a game, I double check in settings that under the subheading
"Record Audio from...", that Discord is checked. But every time I check the clips, Steam has recorded MY Discord audio, but not my friend's Discord audio. We are both in the same Discord server, I can hear his audio perfectly fine in game, but for some reason, Steam Recording never captures him.

Here's the thing: Nvidia Shadowplay suffered from the same problem. I was never able to figure out why. I switched to Steam Game Recording because I was tired of experiencing that problem, but this feature has the same issue.

Oh, and one more thing that's even more baffling: When he's in the Discord server, and I go to the Steam settings to double check that Discord is checked—when he speaks, I can SEE Steam hearing his audio! I can see the levels go up when he speaks, next to the very box that you check to make sure Discord will record. So clearly Steam can DETECT his audio, so why can't it just record it properly??

Does ANYONE know what's happening here? I am absolutely baffled.
