do add steam.exe and its game name.exe to allowed rules.
After adding this path to whitelist it still didn't work.
but as i said most first time tun is work and next day/reboot it dont thats typical security.
could you have other know "splash screeen" issue, this mean games redistributale files or its need's
Try MS own page with VC++, other steam users also have game issue with steam common redistributable files, and we are not kidding here.
steam only update them then game devs or them games you have use nwest , this is not how MS do, they use only newest then they update it.
its here i and other, disagree with steams way, what if you reset windows and install a old game then you will use old outdate VC++. ( this is fact ) problem is most dont noptice it if they use newest game that use newest VC++.
also why gamers do not agree then it work for other's.
ps.
but it dont sounds like this problem here, also ask games own forum.
imsure they say same thing , look like Antivirus app.
have you other safe surf or link protection app , we did see them can block a game in the past again, most dont use them anymore.
some games in the past did a startup check and run into a browser link check do game startup, but thats rare today. ( all part of the thirdpart app check game dev use to run game )
all part of redistributale files from game devs need to run the game.
