In 10+ years there has not been a single confirmed case of someone´s SSD malfunctioning because of DENUVO.
DENUVO is a DRM like any other, what it mainly does is periodically connecting to the DENUVO online servers to check if your license for the game is valid, if not it will not start the game for you.
Thats why you cant play DENUVO games in offline mode for more then a day or two since they cant check with their servers.
There are also no "extra" DENUVO files on your disc, its integrated into the specifc game that uses the DENUVO DRM and its part of that games data.
If you uninstall the game you also uninstall all traces of DENUVO that come with that game.
