Buying games to play when I have a better PC
I want to get a game that is on sale but all I have is a laptop right now but when I get a nice PC in a couple of months the game will be significantly more expensive. My current laptop wouldn't be able to run very much. Should I wait till I have a better pc or is there a way to get it now and download and play it later? Very new to pc gaming like this and any help is appreciated.

You can buy without downloading and playing, yes, but it's not recommended because you will lose the right to a refund 14 days after purchase.
Do your due research and look for streams or let's plays of the games you wish to buy to be absolutely sure it's something you want.

Sales happen all the time on Steam and most games are on sale several times a year. Also most games are on sale during Steam's Winter and Summer sales so missing a sale is a non issue. Just wishlist the game and wait few months and game will be on sale again, maybe even on better discount.

Just buy them games you actual want to play later, pc can come and go, even burnout, so its that simple.
