steam account - login

Hello.

Steam support is now without any email adress. It is strange.

When i wanted to login on 2.9.2024, i was not able. Password was invalid, email adress was changed to something *.com.
After a while steam pop up to me a windows login viac paypal account. I changed password also email adress.

Today is the same situation.
Password was not working, email adress did not exist, was something different *.com.
Again, working only login via paypal account.
I changed password, also email adress. but now another email adress.

I have printscreen of email adress, if someone want to see pictures.

I have old account and i do not want to lost him. :( Without wrtite an email to support is very difficult to have help.

What it is? Whats happen in steam?

Could you please someone explain to me?

How to avoid that?

Really strange, when i can login again to see discussion and see answers. :(

Have also other people the same or similar problem as me?

I think your pc might ve ratted.
Run malware scans on your pc
[windows scanner wont be enough probably]

If there is no malware detected then try to change all paswords asap

Tips for the future:

Try not to share any private data with strangers or friends

Do not log in on sketchy websites with your main email or just dont use the webistes at all
Scan what ever you download before unpacking it

Hello.

I already do that after fist wrong login with several scanner. I use nod, should be good enough safe. I checked whole computer, because also children.

My passwords are shared only inside my family, it is secure, i think. Also i have parrent control, childrens do not use wrong or not secure webpages.

We will see, i changed also email adress on steam account, we will see. in the future. This topic will be i hope open, but i do not know how long.

Scan your PC with Malwarebytes or other anti-malware software of your choice.

Then you need to be logged out of all accounts to start recovery process.

Hello.

Different antivirus programs does not recognize any virus or similar.

Malwarebytes recognized two files, chrome exe instalation file and i do not remember the second one .. pc was and is without any malware, etc..

We bought a game on 21.9.2024 morning, at evening was the game returned, money returned also back. Account was locked. Answer from support from midnight - account is unlocked. But i am not able to make a purchase game.
Strange.
I checked again pc right now with 3 antivirus programs and malwarebytes, nothing.
Price will be increase after 3 hours .. I am not sure, if support can help till this time period. :(

Really strange.
