"Please wait a while before trying again."
I had some unexpected time off tonight so I activated 2-3 month's worth of Humble Bundle keys. Some of the later ones I forgot I had already activated. I then tried to buy a new game that I wanted to play tonight. I got the message "It looks like you've been attempting a lot of purchases in the last few hours. Please wait a while before trying again." I would LOVE to pay for the purchase I'm trying to make!! I get that trying to activate a bunch of already-redeemed keys might look weird, but when I'm trying to PAY for a game with a valid payment method?? And you don't even tell me how long I have to wait for?? I've never been unhappy with Steam before but I'm pissed! LET ME BUY THE GAME!!!!!

This is not support this is a steam user forum to other steam users.

Mass bought titles is part of the problem. they look like fraud then steam has not got its cash yet.

And technicaly its also from bank to steam issue untill refund is not possible. ( bank and user can cause also of issue with this. ) they just dont say it like that, only we can do that as users here.

we dont have to be polite as a company to its customer, here you can get truth to right up in your face , to lets say you have pc problem, and get a reply like fix your pc and we are not rude even then we do it. ( and be happy someone dare tell you things you dont hear other places. )

just wait to you fall down in a greyzone where no company will touch, has happend to alot of us.

then you need any usre that dare have a idea of whats wrong.

gl with your wait for steam to allow you buy more, and no you will not get a reply.
its more like then current transactions is done and over. ( no possibilities for either refund or they got there moiney. ) one of them 2 options is the truth.

Humble Bundle keys. is also a thirdpart so it will take time to bind that key to steam user account as bind forever. ( assume key is not in use other steam user account ) there is over billions of steam user account and game billion's tiles with code, its not that simple i bet.

things we do not see here and actual have a graps of idea how many codes there actual are.
you do the rough math per title on Dota2 users , then you get it. that was 1 game

30 minutes to an hour for store purchase cooldown.

Adding keys/licenses is capped at about 50 per hour.
