ps.
exfat and NTFS do not have same system media right on the disk.
assume you dont have check disk issue or steam librarys repaire issue.
exfat dont belong on windows OS, unless you need a transfer disk.
I've already done a repair check on my library as well as checking for disk issues everything is fine but games still won't recognise files in there folders Ex. Executables, dll and more.
really scratching my head on how to fix this.
Make sure you check storage for each game from that drev, is on D-drev and not c-drev by mistake.
I have no other ideas what else this could be.
lets see if other have a clue.
ps.
You can also browse to local files ,and see if right game is on the right disk you claim work.
its not that we dont belive you its more a double check. ( you are not the first person in the world that thougth a game was on another disk or partions, ppl in old days had many drev letters with games on them.
You might need folder permission or whitelist each game.exe and its launcher.exe or config.exe
or test with a external disk , because this is to odd,
see event viewer if you have game crash, why a app dont work in windows.
ps.
validate game intergrity of files of games that dont work.
I have one of my hot swap drives on drive T and the other is floating on D with the other external devices/plugins.
So assign that external drive a static drive letter.
See if that would work, but you will have to re-point to the library in the Steam Client.
I won't talk about symlinks because people always make fun of me even though it works.
I have them installed on my NTFS D: Drive, and Halo won't even launch. Blackgate gets to the menu, but it will hang when I hit Play game.
