At least hide games on your profile?

I feel guilty for having "too may" steam games which might be a completely different definition from yours but I love these steam stastics and hours played, I want to hide games on my profile or something. I feel shameful for even buying some, some don't work and some suck, will steam ever make at least a way to maybe "track statistics" or "show on profile" feature to keep certain games off of your profile. (by off my profile I mean when you click profile under your steam name not off of the library comepletly) Thank you!

Its happened more times than it should, I would like to make my profile private but that doesn't help with specs and trading :(

lol, but this brings me back to the topic, all people do is judge your profile, I would like counter strike players to see they just got their ass kicked by someone with 300hrs but not to see what other games I have played

Why bother worrying? Everyone has different tastes in games man. Some people prefer NOTHING but FPS games or just one single game in general and they're pretty likely to mock you for playing any kind of RPG, regardless of the platform you're playing on. Some of the guys I play The Last of Us with on PS3 joke with me because I play Final Fantasy XIV a lot.
My point being that you should play what you love and not care about what other people think.

I don't really, its mainly me buying games, playing 3hrs and going back to css or mount and blade. Now seeing my 70 whatever games with 85% of them under 5hrs played makes me which I could delete them or something. I can handle some internet ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but my mental stability will just die in a year when I have like 200 games or something.

lol once again, look at my profile. I only have a few games with more than 2 or 3 hours logged. (Albeit a few of them I just started like Oblivion and Dust). It isn't anything to be ashamed of.

Yeah, "hiding" isn't what I would care about.

However, being able to attach a very short note that shows in the list would be neat -- while it should be obvious that I reasonably like the games that have reasonable playtime on them, games with short playtime are kind of difficult. Did I only get the cards? Did I try and dump it? Did I try and pause it for some reason? What reason? And why did I not play a game that has no playtime?

I doubt anyone looks at profiles from other people, but Steam has the feature -- so they might just well pretend that it could be useful for something.
