Starbound Beta?

Hey Steam people,

So, like a lot of you I pre-ordered Starbound a few months back anticipating the beta and was told it'd be launching today at 10am. Got my key, entered it and seems like it worked OK. But the game is no where to be seen. Is this a goof up on Steam's end? Where wires crossed and lines cut down? I tried checking the forums on it but got a 502 error which I'm assuming are from the gathering pitchfolks and torches. Anyone got anything on this?

They were just uploading the files. should be ready soon. The key you applied should work. Follow http://www.twitch.tv/chucklefishlive for live updates and inane rambling :)

My key registered Steam Sub 35137 instead of Starbound and ofc nothing seen in Steam library.

same here. It isnt available yet. once it is ready we may need to cycle Steam for it to pop

If you check under your account details under your username on the top right corner, it should show up as being added there. I got the same message when I activated mine and thats what really got me worried as well. Hope that helps!

You should be able to get it from the Humble Bundle email that was sent to you when you bought it. Just click on the link in the email you recieved and that should have the link to your Steam key and the non DRM version that will be released later.

Once you have the key, go to the + Add A Game link on the bottom left of the Steam Client, select Activate a Product on Steam and then enter the key.
