L4D2 - Can't find background image 'materials/console/background01'.vtf

I've got a problem with Left 4 Dead 2:

When i launch the Left 4 Dead 2, the game won't start: only black screen, no intro video, and one message: Can't find background image 'materials/console/background01.vtf'

Obs.: I tried to following the orientations of this post: (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2201-QOBN-1584) , but nothing.

Obs.2: I tried verify game cachê and reinstall many times, but nothing.

Obs.3: I have others games in steam (Dota 2, CS Global Ofensive and Age of Empires II) all of they with no problems with the instalation.

Anyone can help me?

I guess, if was something wrong with this. Dota 2 and CS Global Ofensive wouldn't work also, no?

The Steam Support answered me.

I will try follow their orientations, for now.

I found a solution.

After re-install many times.

I launched the game from the paste "steamapps" "left4dead2.exe" and the game was loaded.

After this i got another error saying that my game was seted to launch as -insecure.

So, i created a shortcut in desktop and wrote at the end of destination (-steam -secure) like this ("D:\Jogos\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2.exe" -steam -secure)

And now it's working.
