Picture of skins not showing up in game inventory

Not a big issue but it's been bothering me

When I look in the inventory certain pictures of gun skins are always missing. It only shows the white background. Certain skins, like my galil shattered and famas hexane, have pictures. I don't know if this is a problem everyone is experiencing or just me. Can someone clarify please? Thanks.

i went through those steps and even reinstalled steam and csgo, didn't help

While I don't have much experience with whatever issue people are claiming about CS:GO, I purchased it during the sale and it's working flawlessly. Even after the Dec 3rd Update, which came after my install of CS:GO. Still works great.

But like alot of Source games people have various issues with, search elsewhere for videos or threads on CS:GO issues. As they have alot of command line/launch options. It's possible there is such an option that can help your issue. Unless it's corrupted graphics files or something perhaps. But if that is the case, verify game cache should resolve that.

yes i did. i messed with the video settings in game and somehow i fixed it haha. im running on a mac so the same settings that worked for me might not work for you.

hey @Cactuar, yeah man i tried your settings and it worked :D (i had to restart csgo wtih the new settings but still good)...
what i think is happening is basically the models of skins for guns are 'high quality" so having low settings and low resolution makes it so that they aren't loaded correctly. to check this i'll have to recieve a new gun and we'll see if the loads or not.

glad to hear i helped! and your theory sounds about right, i remember changing my video settings to high because i wanted to see my shiny new case hardened ak :D

haha wow nice! yeah, so i got a new gun, and i have the same problem. so im pretty sure my theory is correct.. :D thanks alot guys. i gues everytime u get a couple new guns, just switch up to high settings and then revert :)
