Sound gets reduce by 80% on WIN8

Hi Steam,
I don't know if you are already aware of this issue or not,
but thanks to a feature on WIN8, the sound in games gets reduce by 80% lol

It's because of the microphone feature in Steam I guess.
Just like when you play music and then receive a call in Skype and it's automatically reduce the sound of the music so you can hear the call, then the same thing when you play on Steam.

You can change this by going to: Control Panel > Sound > Communications, and change it to "Do nothing".

Maybe your developers can fix it from your side, but this is another way to solve it.

Dude i have an identical problem maybe because my microphone is working,on skype,everything , but in counter strike steam just turns it off, so maybe you should see the settings on win8 in the control panel they might help :)

For those who want a simple guide on how to fix this problem.

Right click on the speaker in the bottom right. Select Playback devices or Recording devices or Sounds. Either one of them is fine.

Then in the tabs head to the Communication tab. Set the option on Do nothing.
