Logitech G9 positioning issues
Hello there.
Just moved to a new place and installed a fresh Windows 7 with new drivers (also for my Logitech G9 mouse).
Sad thing is - in some games, like Left 4 Dead and Contagion - my mouse doesn't work properly - it randomly changes sensitivity, looses positioning, making the game process impossible.
I've already tried to change drivers to the earlier versions (SetPoint), but the problems remains.
The mouse itself is absolutely OK, it works fine in other games and in windows, there were no such problem for the last 5 years (same PC config, same games).
Thanks for the help!

does your USB disconnect/connect for short moments?

Nope, device is always connected, problem is only with crazy sensitivity randomize (looks pretty similar to those old first-gen optic mice, when u trying to move it faster - it loose orientation) .

Microsoft mouse driver is always in use (hid compliant mouse driver, 21.06.2006), I've never seen in Device Manager any sign of Logitech.
I did just deleted Logitech software, without manual driver removing.

You go to your regular mouse device and check the properties. In there it will tell you what driver is in use by what manufacturer.
I know, it says just "hid compliant mouse driver", manufacturer Microsoft.
It doesn't matter anyway, cuz this driver also can't be updated
