Can someone who i added as a friend hack me in anyway?

I added someone who is a friend on MC. We dont personally know each other but we play MC together. As soon as i added him i went offline in steam. This is the first time this has happened before so i am just checking if he can hack me. Comments and help will be much appreciated.

People who you add as friends cannot "hack" you. There's no need to worry.
Just make sure you don't give out your password to anyone.
Also, if anyone gives you a link to a relatively unknown website which "requires" you to log-in through Steam. If you question any site, just make a little post on here to get confirmation whether it's safe or not.

As long as you use your head, no. Simply being on your friends list cannot allow them to access your account in any way. The main thing is not to fall for phising attempts.
