My NBA 2K14 crashes halfwaythrough the LeBron James intro

The game crashes midway the LeBron James intro and if i try to skip it. Im not sure why or how but if my computer couldnt run it shouldnt it just not work or let me in or have the game be just realy laggy?

im able to go into event viewer but from there everything just looks alien to me... i cant find the application crash and i dont see anywhere i can type in. Am I supposed to be looking for anything specific?

oh another thing, i try to activate the product code but it says its not a valid product code.

Same thing happen to me. I had to put it in Windows 98 mode and it started to work for me. Thanks.
