Why even buy a hardcopy of the game when you could have bought it off Steam anyway?
I do not care where you post but if you want the best help posting in the correct section makes a lot of sense.
If you buy discs just realize you're getting an older version of the game since discs have to be made a few weeks in advance. In the mean time the game is still getting bug fixes so by the time it gets to you your game is already outdated.
Also, the game is 50GB. That's HUGE. I thought Max Payne 3 was a giant at 30GB.
The people who makes this game should put some respect to their loyal customer. I bought this hard copy game like I always did and it really expensive. I expect to get more exclusivity and privileged to play this game as soon as I installed in my computer. Or at least I should get the option to update or just to play it as it is.
This game update's size is so unreasonably big, total was 24.5GB. Lucky for me to have quite OK internet connection in my house (around 5 Mbps), It still wasting my time for about 20 hours.
Really, I'm very disappointing this time with this game and all those people who involved to making this game so unreliable. Downloading 24.5 GB is INSANE!!! It is not about money but this game really wasting my time and actually I deserve to play directly and not necessary to wait this until complete
This experience really taught me for NOT buying the game only because it has a big name (CoD) and release by a good company (Activision), but next time I should read the forum first.
Better watch out next time guys!
Better learn to break that habit, son. The trend now is to do away with discs altogether in favor of digital downloads. Publishers love it. Costs them even less to distribute their game and it maximizes profits. But that won't stop them from raising the price of the average game to $70.
Just wait and see how long until this is standard across the boards.
