Regarding recording software, Fraps (as I AM SHODAN! mentioned) is very popular at the moment; I personallly use FFSplit to record anything as it's very efficient and doesn't take up much system resources; if you have an Nvidia graphics card with a Kepler architecture (Just google which ones have it if you don't know.), you'll soon be able to take advantage of Nvidia's ShadowPlay software bundled with GeForce Experience to record your gameplay.
Once you have your video recorded, you'll need a YouTube (now a Google+ account) to upload your video file to your channel. Once you've logged into YouTube, click the upload button at the top of the page, and you'll get easy instructions on how to continue from there.
As a little side-note, gameplay recording can take, usually, anywhere between 7% - 15% of your system's resources (It'll be working that much harder when you're in-game.). So don't be suprised if you're getting very low frames per second while trying to record HD gameplay.
Other than that, feel free to post any other questions you have.
Dxtory is definitely a good one as well.
ShadowPlay is available as Beta software in GeForce Experience, and its official release has not yet come.
In fact, I have a GTX 670M, and I can get it running, even though I'm not supposed to. It "works" but it still has a little bit more work to be done on it.
