source games will run, but portal2, left4dead/2 and tf2 will be too much for it
If you arent running at very high resolutions and turn down the graphics settings you might be able to run early games that run on Source (Hlaflife 2 / Portal), IdTech 3 (quake 3 engine). You could possibly get away with the first Bioshock as Unreal Engine 1/2 runs on just about anything.

This review says you can get about 25-30 FPS In Half Life: Lost Coast and Battlefield 2, but you have to lower the settings, and you get optimal performance at 800x600, which will look pretty terrible on your monitor.
If you are interested in playing some more up to date games you can probably pick up an old 8800GT for next to nothing on ebay.
