So many bugs with the new UI. it is not good.

there are so many bugs with the new UI. especially with notifications. I will list mine. Maybe you guys have others. and maybe some moderator sees this. and pass it up. (just maybe. im not holding my breath)

. Get notifications about very old stuff ive already seen. and nothing new was added
. When ive seen a notification it doesnt go away.
. New notifications often dont pop up
. Notifications are difficult to navigate now in general.
. I had contacted the steam support for an issue. Which was resolved. But for some reason everytime i click store. to go there. I go to the support ticket page?!


What is fixed with this update.
. I can pay for stuff in app again.This was broken since January for me. I got a black screen for the payment system. Something about the link between the steam app and the payment processor. This is fixed now.
. The ! exclamation mark works again normally. In the previous steam version. The dot under ! was gone.


Also i dont like the new top fond for: Store- Library, Community and account. It looks off and ugly.
What are you guys thoughts.

Yes, so true.
If i open up a guide, a privacy setting window comes up, but it cant be accepted.
The windows always open in a small window, you have to resize every time.
Achvs are ugly, and unlocked ones are shuffled randomly.
U cant browsw net anymore.

Yes, there are really a lot of problems to be solved. I am using macOS and I found the games shared by my friends to me won’t appear in the library. It still doesn’t work after I called my friends to cancel and share again or reinstalled. I posted on reddit and knew that someone have this issue while the others not. This thing only happens on macOS edition and the Win edition works well. What we really need is a REAL client instead of a new interface looks like a browser loading a website.

Also, the STORE LIBRARY COMMUNITY ACCOUNT thing glitches all the time, it always overlapps with the Steam View Friends Games Help and sometimes with itself.

The "News" "Notifcations" And the thingy with the PFP username and funds look too close to the top of the screen.

Btw, the new roundy look and the bold letters looks like Windows 11, which I didn't switch to because its animations looked oddly smooth and gave me nauseas.

Overall, terrible update.

I get the feeling they have cache issues. That is why you see pages what shouldnt be behind that button

So far I'm actually liking it, but A LOT of times, when clicking on, like, anything, a guide, a thread, notifications etc. it goes back to the Steam home page instead. Dunno why.

Also if you run a game, you can't open Steam anymore via the systemtray etc.

.ohyeah another thing that is broken. Links. When i click on a link in app. I go to the community home page on the web version.

. And another thing i not noticed. Steam is minimizing the window slightly. Or changing resolution? when i alt tab to another screen. which creates a small game south and east of the screen. which is annoying.

So far the new UI doesn't bother me at all. BUT, not being able to permanently disable the popup ads on login is a problem to me. Maybe it's because I grew up in the era where popups were a plague upon the internet (if you think they're annoying now, try the early 2000's), but I would rather not have to look at them.

yeah, that also annoyed me. i disabled it and also edited my Tabs.
started steam with the -vgui argument and changed everything.
sadly friendlist isnt working with it active :(

Adding to this

-forward and back buttons randomly don't work or take me to my library instead of the page it's supposed to.

-clicking on a game on the store front page just takes me to my library tab or reloads the store front page. I literally cannot open any game page from the store.

-this is pretty massively like, bad
