login at friends pc with your account and unhide it there. or spare pc even. see it as a pc you never did it on could be best so mistake either get with you or not, you need to understand the many process of faulthy finding and get what im try to do and proof it.
clear webcache browser DATA should also do this, cookie was once there but is now combined as web browser data.
they juist change to new location, inside a game in overlay then you can see Clear web Browser data, very odd place to put it.
lets see how it goes, what i dont get is why steam dont know if code has hide on a game option is on. ( maybe its a local issue, even here it will fail if you login at other pc, so as you see i dont get it make no sense, i though it was on the profile or maybe you need to ask them again.
there is also steam config flush , ( google it ) so you never forget it there for a reason.
and you look skilled enough to understand the many what if this and that here.
watchout for cross platform settings , linux vs pc , i dont say there is, but you know how it is with all them things we dont know here.
i also had one Skyrim scriot extended, as game title, why will i have to see it as a game then its not a game.
it actual told me cant show because of Filter in the collections, and in hide in top of this.
could be seen as overlooked if you dont read it correctly. ( i doubt it's that but who knows )
dont bother with it if you made a mistake say so, so other steam user can learn the diffrence just as i did just now.
I found a current case of my problem. If I go to KLEI Fest promo page there are four games shown right at the top of the page and one small '1 hidden'.
What do you see?
I now tried on my iPad and see the same.
I am normally using Firefox and now logged into Steam with Edge browser for the very first time and see the same.
Steam config flush resets everything, my local config and cache files and also all my preferences. This is something I not very likely to do. Then I prefer to not see some games and don't buy them :D
Because of possibly banned games?
This won't be the cause of the problem. Austria doesn't have regulation as strict as in Germany and those games will be filtered similarly like games in different languages I guess.
Anyways, the developer studio Klei produces 'kids friendly' games.
Probably the most 'serious' of their games is Don't Starve and is for 12+
