CD games

Hi there, I was trying to redeem some of my very old cd games (Call Of Duty World at War, GTA SA, NFS Carbon) and i cant. When i try to redeem them it tells me that the CD keycodes are ivalid. I know that it might wont be able to redeem them but i want to try it and i dont want to buy them again. Thanks for future support.

Yeah, as said, CD keys aren't Steam codes. In some cases publishers did do converts, but they'd have to enable that. Most obviously don't.

You can try to contact the publishers to ask for Steam keys, but seeing as it's about ActiBliz, Rockstar and EA, your chances are rather slim. It's not impossible, the ones I mostly had success with are Sega and Stardock.

It should probably be mentioned that sometimes they are. I've gone through my old PC game collection years ago and tried plugging several of those CD keys into Steam. Some of them activated. While most won't, it is at least worth trying.
