Owning base game, family library sharing DLC
Hello!

I wanted to buy Fallout New Vegas, but I have the game family shared to me with all its DLCs. I was thinking I could just buy the base game so I will be able to play the game when the shared library is being used, but I do not know if that takes away my access to the DLCs.

Me: Owns base game
Other (Who is family library sharing): Owns base game + DLCs

If Other uses his library, will I still have access to the DLC content for Fallout NV? Or would I still need to buy the ultimate edition?

Thank you!

If you own the game you can no longer play THEIR content, you play your own version.

If you do NOT own the game, you can access whatever version and whatever DLC they have with it.

Use SFS Select...

Or delete your base game (this can be undone at any time, don't worry) through support and you can accomplish the same.
