In-game Overlay 24 hour to 12 hour format.
Hey,

As the title suggests the new steam overlay is showing the time in 24 hour format, however I would prefer it to be in 12 hour time format. Yes my system is set to 12 hour, Windows does not use the 24 hour time format only the In-game overlay.

So does anybody know what to do to get it to display 12 hour or is it only in 24 hour currently? There is a setting under the interface tab, it is turned off however its description says it only effects timestamps which this is not so I don't think that setting is valid to the in-game overlay.

Any help would be appreciated, if this is not yet a feature then please add it Gabe!!!! <3

funny, on system, where 24 hours format is used it was defaulted to 12 :|

Odd. Is it working for some and not others? Or does it revert after some time or event? I just launched CSGO and the overlay clock is either 12 or 24 depending on how I toggle the setting. I can even watch it change between the two as I toggle the setting back and forth.

That is the setting I talked about that does not change the in-game overlay for me. I have it switched off and it was still using 24 hour.

I noticed it the first time i opened the new overlay, before the update it was using 12 hour time format. Now it has changed its using 24 hour regardless of what my steam settings are. It is the next day now and still on 12 hour. When i toggle the setting nothing changes for me.

3rd party programs that conflict with your Steam Settings and Steam Games in-game settings is the cause of it.

i know for a fact that there are certain Razer Programs that takes charge of your Computer Settings and in-game settings.

if you personally setup your Steam Settings and Steam Games in-game settings yourself

then the Razer program or similar to it will overwrite it.

disable such programs and see if the problem persist.

p.s mine shows in 12 hour format all the time. never show in 24 hours format at all.
