Can a same game be on sale twice within a year or two?

I've seen many games that were on sale at an extremely low price, but I haven't bought a computer that can withstand these games. I've been thinking, should I buy these games and play them when I get a new computer or wait and buy them when they're on sale again in a year or two? Actually, can the same game be on sale again within a year or two?!

Some games go on sale much more frequently. Some even have been on humblebundle multiple times... even good ones.

If you want to make guesses, check the game you're interested in on http://isthereanydeal.com. They have a "price history" that may or may not be correct for every game, but I do trust it to some extent. This should how you whether the game has seen a lot of sales in the past or not, and what the discounts were.

Of course, even such sites cannot predict the future. It's still guessing.
