You've verified and re-installed Steam and you say DirectX 11 is up to date, but what about each games specific Direct X implementations?
Look through each problem game's directory and see if there's a folder called "redist". And then see if there's a DirectX setup .exe. in there and run it. While you're there, check for any .NET/Visual C set up files and run them as well.
Just did all of that for Antichamber and there's no change. Also you can add Sanctum 2 to the list.
I have Win7 installed on a SSD, while steam and the games are installed on a HDD; would this make a difference or have an effect on how the games launch? The fact that the transformers game works is what leaves me so clueless as to what could be going on.
just uninstall your old physx by revo uninstaller pro
then download this PhysX_10.01.29_9.10.0129_SystemSoftware
and install it
I think this could be help
