Flickering screen after graphics driver update
Recently, a lot of my games have been virtually unplayable due to flickering lines across the screen, and at times screen tearing. I have tried all vsync options and nothing has made a difference. The first game I saw this on was Assassins Creed: Black Flag, which had the problem straight after I'd bought it. I originally thought it was an issue with the game but now after going back on games that used to work perfectly, such as Sleeping Dogs and The Witcher 2, they now have the same issue. I think this must be something to do with one of the new drivers as the issue only seems to be affecting games that are compatible with Geforce experience, and I never encountered this problem before. I know it's not an issue with my PC specs as all of my games ran perfectly on optimum settings before this. I've also tried uninstalling Geforce experience but that made no difference either. Anyone have the same problem and/or know how to solve it?

Intel Quad core i5 4670 processor
Nvidia Geforce 760 GTX
16gb RAM
Windows 7 64 bit

I've posted in the Nvidia forums as well but I've not had a reply so I thought I'd try here.

I'm not sure how I could've downloaded the wrong file, I did it through Geforce experience, just checked for updates and downloaded the latest driver.

I just tried disabling hardware accelleration and it unfortunately made no difference.
Go to start and search for "Device manager"

Once you're on there, go to Display adapters, and check for updates. Alternately, you can delete the driver and run using the integrated graphics card (IF YOUR MOTHERBOARD HAS IT), and reinstall it.
I've installed an older version of the driver from the Nvidia website, but it still says my current driver is version 332.21. This may seem like a stupid question (but I'm new to this), is is safe to completely delete the current driver, and all files for it before installing another, and where do I go about doing this?
I also still have 2 folders dating back to last year entitled 'GeForceR331GameReadyDriver' and 'GeForce327.23Driver', is that what was meant by keeping a copy of the last driver?
Okay, I see where you mean and I have the original drivers on disk from when I first got the computer which wasn't too long ago. Do I only want to uninstall only the graphics driver or all nvidia drivers with it?
I uninstalled the drivers, then when I rebooted it they were automatically reinstalled. Do I want to delete all nvidia folders from my computer as well, as this could be whats causing it?

Not when I rebooted it, but an icon came up in the bottom right of the screen saying 'installing driver software'.
I've managed to reinstall the drivers from the disk, I'm still getting the flickering screen however it's not as bad as it was. I still don't know why this is happening though, seing as it worked perfectly before.
It was definitely after I got the update, some games I got in the sale after the update so I can't be certain they worked before, but other games have now got the exact same problem which worked perfectly before, and I can't think of any changes that have occured other than the update.
Yes this was happening to me just now I went over to install the new recommended driver from AMD then when it was installing before it was done it started flickering my screen. I immediately cancelled it and it stopped flickering. Did You figure out any solution
